Forehead Lift

A forehead lift, also known as forehead rejuvenation or brow lift, is a cosmetic surgical procedure to elevate the eyebrow and lower forehead and smoothen the area from your eyebrows to your hairline.

The procedure involves repositioning the soft tissues in the area of the forehead and brow to freshen, smoothen and tauten the area around the eyes, brow and forehead.

This surgery is mostly performed under general anaesthesia, and you may be required to stay in the hospital overnight. It may take 1-2 weeks to fully recover after the forehead lift surgery. During recovery, you may experience some temporary side effects after surgery, such as pain sensitivity, swelling and bruising near the operated area, which will improve with time. Your doctor will prescribe some analgesics and other medications to support and relieve your symptoms during recovery.

What are the benefits of a forehead lift?

  • Enhancement of the outer or upper visual field
  • Raising of eyebrows slightly higher to a more aesthetic position
  • Improvement of hooding of the skin of the upper eyelids
